Raleigh Office

Transforming Our Skylines in the Triangle and Beyond

In 1996, Choate Raleigh opened its doors with a handful of employees. Today, our office is filled with 50+ thinkers, doers, and builders, skilled in solving some of the most complex construction issues in innovative, cost-effective ways.

As North Carolina’s Research Triangle sets trends in institutional, science and laboratory, and corporate trends, our Choate Raleigh team brings these transformative projects to life. Projects like Marsico Hall at UNC Chapel Hill and Genworth Financial’s Headquarters, or Duke Center for Living and The Offices at Wade Park. Projects that inspire, heal, give, and ensure the Triangle continues attracting and retaining top talent for decades to come.

Delivering operational excellence to the Triangle area and beyond includes outstanding safety practices. Choate was recently named the Safest Construction Company in the Nation by The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). Locally, the Choate Raleigh team earned the Building Star Award by the North Carolina Department of Labor for their work on the Johnson Subaru of Cary project, as well as the STEP Diamond Award presented by The Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas (ABCC).

Paying it Forward

Our responsibilities as industry leaders extend far beyond the jobsite and office.

We strive to give back to the communities we serve – as advocates for our industry’s professional organizations; as mentors to inspire the next generation of construction professionals; and by dedicating our time, talents, and energy to serving those who need help most.

Through various initiatives like the ABCC Build-a-Shed Program and multiple charitable fun runs, as well as through involvement with non-profit organizations such as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Raleigh Chapter and Ronald McDonald House, we’re dedicated to building healthy and vibrant communities.

A Place to Grow

Our employee owners set the tone for what makes the Raleigh office as fun as it is hardworking.

Within our office you can find employees passionate about giving back to the community, our yearly “Masters” Mini-Golf Tournament, or acting as mentors to the next generation of construction professionals. The collaboration of our diverse staff blends to equip each person with valuable skills beyond their job title.

Walking through our halls on a Friday, you may find us in a heated ping pong match, crunching numbers for our clients, or laughing over a local IPA. And Raleigh is routinely named one of the fastest growing and best places to live and work by Forbes, Money, and The US Census Report, to name a few.

Drop us a line and find out why we love to work and play hard in Raleigh.
